Plug Power Cable

The first step is to see battery quality. Connect the power if you are using a laptop on battery backup and it does not turn on. It will let you know your battery quality. Make sure the adapter connects appropriately. If your computer uses an AC adaptor, ensure both cords connect appropriately.

Disconnect from the docking station:

If you are using a Docking station for charging, disconnect it. Try to turn it on to know whether the docking station is working correctly.
